 Hostel Allrounders - Reception, breakfast

A fun, engaging & varied job at the Adventure Hostel Interlaken. Your weeks will be varied with weekly 2 or 3 reception days, 2 or 3 breakfast shifts and a helping hand during the fondue feasts we provide for our guests (e.g. mainly the Contiki groups that we have regularly in summer). Combined this is a 60%- 100% job.

Requirements:

• Willingness to be flexible between reception, breakfast and fondue shifts
• Lover of the great outdoors, traveller and an open-mind with a smile
• Willing to work on weekends sometimes
• German & English level need to be high both spoken & written.
  It is imperative you can speak and write well in both English and German for the reception phone & email communication.
• Initial contract until the 31st of October, extension possible afterwards.
• Salary well above L-GAV & Swiss hospitality standards
• Reception experience an advantage.
• Starting date: May (or earlier).

Housekeeping at the Hostel

We are always looking for good, motivated and self-organizing housekeepers that knows what it takes to clean a room, make beds and spot unexpected cleaniness problems before the guests notice them. If you feel you are this great person that can do the job better and faster than the average housekeeper, and therefore also deserves a definite higher salary than other hotel housekeeping jobs, drop us a message with your motivation.
